LifeSong announces newest book release: 'Promises from the Olive Tree'

Noreen Jacks' new book of inspiration and information for parents is now available for order from LifeSong and through major Christian and mainstream booksellers.

In this 120-page gift quality book with 35 full color illustrations (including many photos of the Holy Land provided by bibleplaces.com) the author examines the metaphor of the olive tree in the Bible as it relates to the raising of children. The book looks to God, the Master Gardener for guidance. It encourages parents to see how their children–like the olive tree–require care and dedication to be shaped and trained to achieve their ultimate potential to serve Him.

Jacks’ expertise on the subject comes from her numerous Middle East tours, knowledge gleaned from her Master’s degree program in religious studies and 30 years of Bible teaching. The text and photos relates the historical olive to the vital olive tree in the world today. The ongoing analogy between the tree and the child, all point to the book’s recurring theme of growth and restoration.

Noreen Jacks lives with her husband in Woodland, California. The couple will be hosting group tours to the Bible lands, and they also plans to participate in the excavation of the proposed site of ancient Sodom, located at Tall el-Hammam, North-east of the Dead Sea in Jordan. Jacks is available for interviews and speaking engagements and can be contacted at 530-666-2562 or at noreen@noreenjacks.com
